I was a DCPS student throughout my hole life when I graduated in the year 2010. I was Really think in what I wanted to do in life. I want to one of the best DCPS high school in the city (Columbia Heights educational campus) and there was so much that I learned but one thing that I thought was slowing me down was that I was a special education student. I thought that life was going to be easy but it was not.. I thought that with out a collage degree I was going to get some where but I can't. So know I'm going to Roosevelt stay high school. I am going to get a certification on culinary art and the teacher(chef Robinson) is teaching use thing that collage student are learn for free which is very nice because there are so many people that can't even afford to go to collage but they are going to that program and learning new things every day. That is not the only program I am going to Roosevelt stay for it is a entrepreneurship and business class. And the teacher is ( ms pasqual) and she is a really good teacher that know a lot about business and how to run a business . But in my opinion I think that this is a good proposal in closing these small school and focusing on the new school and get more collage courses in to these high school like culinary arts, business, Technology courses and more and not only high school, but there should be programs in middle school to help kids in to getting ready for high school, like going out to see high school and setting and looking at what high school student go through. In conclusion what we should do is the right thing in help the life cycle get better and expanding our education an our young teenagers.
